Recently, I was a guest for the Meet & Right Podcast for my good friend, Fr. Nathanael Guirguis from St. Mark American Coptic Orthodox Church in Atlanta, GA. This podcast, Evangelism & Liturgy, makes you look at the liturgy in a unique and different way. It is amazing to see the liturgy from a missionary and evangelistic perspective.
The Liturgy was designed for all to come to the unity of faith and unity with God. The Liturgical life is to pray and then share and proclaim what God is doing in my life. Liturgical life continues with the mission to call all to Him. As we say in the Liturgy prayers, “for You are the life of us all, the salvation of us all, the hope of us all, the hearing of us all.” We are called to give myself up for All. Just as Christ sacrificed. And He teaches us to do the same every time we pray the Liturgy.
