When I was in college, it was the love of a priest and servants that kept asking about me. They called and they visited. Their love touched me and made me feel like I was part of a community.
Visiting homes is essential to growing the Church. It is often overlooked as a vital ministry. Not only is it the priest’s job but every member to go out and visit others. Like in my experience, just a small visit can transform and heal people. You never know what people are going through. Outreach and visitation can make people feel like they are part of a community and loved.
Churches should not be waiting for people to come but the Church should go out to others!
